DRI, work with communities alongside governmental institutions including, Parliament and Judiciary and private sectors in order to work toward inclusive development and peace across communities, intellectual, institutions. We work in partnership with civil societies as well as the international and national organizations (NGO), including the humanitarian clusters. This is to influence decision-makers to change public policies and practices in ways that will have a positive impact on the lives of men and women living in conflict and poverty in South Sudan. DRI field and desk research are done to out wage sources and elements of impending conflict and how to create sustainable peaceful society out of decades of wars. DRI advocacies ensure that implementation of broader concepts of peace, democracy and prosperity are coordinated and that a meaningful conflict transformation would addresses the barriers of state building and drivers of conflict in South Sudan. This strategy ensures prioritization of peaceful contact among communities and societies. This concept aims to strengthen constituencies’ governance and public participation on policies debates by empowering citizens to exercise their collective rights freely as an instrument for cohesion and healthy diversity governance in South Sudan. DRI works for integrative political accommodation and coordinated societal transformation through lectures and conferences at public institutions on peace, governance reform and development by building capacity of the next generation of young people and leadership to stand for peace and reconciliation and collective dealing with the “legacy of the past conflict”.
